HyipCalculator update: a friend asked me if I could share among my readers, his nice tool, an investments calculator, with most of features we use in hyip like days of investment, if 7 days per week or just Mon-Friday and compound.
I usually do all the calcs myself, because I rarely use compound, making things easier.
But with a calculator of this kind (or your own Excel sheet) you can save a bit of time and help you with calcs involving partial compound.
Hello folks, you probably have noticed that last week there were fewer and fewer updates in my blog.
There is no way to deny it: since my master degree started, my time to dedicate to my blog was severed lowered, and it will be even less as the course goes forward, especially when I need to start thinking about the thesis I will have to do.
Since I created this blog I always followed the rule "won't affect my personal life", and last year I was able to do it without problems, as my schedule was quite generous for me.
But now this no longer true.
So, here is the final update: dvdhyip is closing, there won't be more updates or articles (unless I really change my mind), and the site will remain as it is now, as long blogspot exists or doesn't delete it, so all the info it contains will remain available to everyone (my main wish was always to share knowledge). I will became again a regular investor in this industry.
I added a "export news" script from hyipnews.com, to at least have the latest news shown in my blog, even being inactive. The layout had some changes and I removed some banners and the current advertiser (Optimum pride) will be refunded accordingly.
The monitor page will be updated when any program falls, removing it, until there is nothing on it.
Overall it was a really great experience, I learned a lot from more experienced people, improved my research/critic skills for investments (whatever hyips, online or offline ventures) and my English is now miles better than 1 year ago.
I hope you liked this journey with my blog as much as I liked :)
Without nothing more to add, I wish all the best with your life and investments,
David

Keep in touch!
Frank
I will Frank :)
Hey David, don't leave us too far! :P Be in touch & take care. Best wishes, Max. ;)
thanks Max :)
I will keep looking to the shout box.
Hi David !
I was passing now by your blog and saw the post "end of a chapter".
Lol, the hyips' world is losing the greatest blogger so far..
However I can deeply understand your rule "won't affect my personal life".
Anyway you got a huge respect and trust from so many people, including me, and this will always stay forever ! Be proud of it mate. :-)
Keep in touch anyway, and become a great doctor ! I have zero doubts about this..
Ciao.
Paolo
Hi Paolo,
It's not just it affecting my personal life, my lack of time was also being noticed in the lower quality of my posts.
And my blog wasn't a big deal, there are also great bloggers out there, and more will appear :)
but I will keep in touch, your blog is still in my bookmarks ;)
thanks,
David
Just was cruising by and saw your post David. It is sad that you are moving on as it seems, but you are right to put priorities where they need to be in life. Maybe after your studies are complete you can return to cyber moneymaking world.
I sincerely wish you the best in your chosen career path, however I will miss your take on things here.
You also underestimate yourself regarding your blogging skills. There are some great bloggers out there, but sorting out the ones who are blogging for the right reasons and not just for the monetary gain is the hard part to gauge. To me you always gave your experiences and opinions without the hypetype mentality that some bigger bloggers have.
Personally I thank you for your contribution to the industry.
Best wishes and kindest regards
AussieLady
PS From personal experience I have found even leaving this industry due to high priority commitments, you really never leave. I found myself just popping in here and there to see how things were going each time I had some time in front of a computer. Sorta become part of you. Would love to at least hear from you every now and again. ok?
Thanks for understanding AussieLay.
Time will tell if I will return in future or not, we never know what life reserves for us.
I agree, we will never leave this industry, it's already a part of our life, and it's not easy to "just leave and forget everything".
I will still be here, looking at my shout-box, commenting in other blogs, and investing here and there.
So I think you will hear from me, although a bit less.
thanks,
David
Friend, will really miss you.Personally i am very saddened by your last post.Anyways, wish u all the best in your life. And myself doing a master's degree,i know how difficult it is,to maintain a full blown blog.
BEST WISHES FRIEND
Thanks Hyipingmoney.
I know you are also doing master's degree ;)
The major problem I am facing is lack of proper time, because I have now a lot of days where I enter at 8am and exit at 8pm, and have 11 classes versus 6 last year.
The "master thing" is another kind of beast lol.
I wish you all the best too :)
David
Hello david ..
... I passed by your blog now and saw your farewell post ...
... Obviously I understand your reasons and i wish you good health and luck ...
... I hope we keep in touch ...
...um abraço, spread.
hi Spread, thanks for understanding.
As a full time stundent (compared to half-backed student last year) and part time worker, the time I had to dedicate to my blog greatly diminished, and I even noticed the lowering of quality of my articles because I was writing in a "hurry".
I will stay in this industry, but now more as an visitor than a blogger.
Thanks,
Abraço
Hi David,
how are you? It saddens me to find that you're leaving this industry for good..I hope you'll find great success in your future endeavors..
